Places to visit and things to do

Byrness House is located on the outskirts of Byrness Village next to the Pennine Way and the Northumberland National Park, just five miles from the Scottish border. It is a great area for walkers, cyclists and adventurers and perfect for astronomers and star gazers as it is located in the darkest patch of the Gold Tier International Dark Sky Park and just 12 miles from Kielder Observatory.

“We had a really excellent stay this month in Byrness House. We were a group of 10 adults with two dogs and there was more than enough space for us all, with the bedroom and bathroom set ups providing good flexibility for the group.”
